My Poem Will Be Published in F Magazine

I’m excited to share a creative milestone that feels both grounding and expansive: my poem has been selected for publication in the upcoming issue of F Magazine. As someone who moves between community-centered creative work and an introspective studio practice, writing has always been a quiet but essential part of how I process, translate, and transform experience. It is not a craft I ever share often. This publication invites a new layer of visibility into that part of my work — one that feels deeply aligned with where both Dezire Higher and Deziree Jordyn are growing. This poem comes from a place of witnessing, remembering, and returning to self. It’s reflective, honest, and a little raw — in all the ways creation tends to be before it becomes form. I’m grateful to share it with you here first, before it appears in print. Thank you for being part of this evolving space — for reading, supporting, and holding the work as it continues to move. Below is the poem featured in the magazine.

“Will They Ever Know?” explores memory, grief, and the invisible stories a child carries — moments of fracture, tenderness, and the quiet truths that shape us long before we have the language to name them. The poem moves through the shock of loss, the surreal clarity of childhood trauma, and the haunting question of what remains unspoken across generations.

I will link the full poem and magazine upon official print publication :)
